How Grant Greetings Came To Be
Grant Greetings was born from our love for writing and art. We started out writing rhyming poetry, then ventured off into short stories, articles, and children's books. We also went down the road to explore our love of photography, back when the digital camera first came out and before there was a cell phone in everyone's hand. We came to love pressed flower art, rubber stamps, and alcohol markers. Eventually, we came to realize that we could do all the things we love in the greeting card.
So came Grant Greetings!
Greeting cards have stood the test of time. They make us feel. Feel happy, feel sad, feel loved, but most of all, feel important.
Our Story
Rebecca (owner of Grant Greetings) grew up in a family of four in a little town called Hardin, where she spent her early years playing with her younger sister and developing her love for art, photography, and the written word. Her love for art came from her mother, as she used to watch her mother doodle in her notepad while talking to family and friends on the phone. Her love for photography came from a neighborhood friend who used to take pictures of everything and have the film developed. He would share those photos with her and her sister, which left her amazed. Her love for the written word emerged when she was just in elementary school. As a child, she found herself looking forward to library day every week as she would skim through all the children's books, taking in their stories, pictures, and that wonderful new book smell of freshly printed pages. As she grew older, she took her own children to the local library, where her daughter also shared her love for the written word.
